How do I order a custom portrait?

First, look through my options for sizing and pricing and decide what works best for you. Submit a request for a portrait including one to three photos of your pet— the better the lighting and quality of the image, the better I can translate your pet into paint! I will sometimes make a unique pose based on the photos sent— otherwise, I will directly use one image as the reference. If you have a specific pose please let me know in the notes, and have a picture included that I can replicate.

Be sure to include any information about background color preference (otherwise I will choose one that compliments the colors used in the portrait) and optional background painting preference (with photos if you have a particular image/landscape in mind). Please note the prices of any add-ons as listed in the "Pricing" section.

Can you paint my lizard/hamster/horse/fish/fire-breathing dragon?

I would love to! I can paint whatever furry (or not so furry) friend you want.

Can I make special requests?

Absolutely! I have some options for customization listed under the "Pricing" tab. Background color specification is always free! If you have further requests— say, painting your pup as a three-headed fantasy creature (a favorite of mine!), or incorporating a special toy or bandana, please feel free to add it in the request, and I will work with you on any pricing fluctuations.

Can I order a portrait of more than one pet?

I am happy to paint as many pet portraits as you want, with a 15% discount for each additional portrait per order. My standard pricing is for one pet per canvas. If you would like to have numerous animals in one piece, please contact me so we can work on pricing/sizing and ensure I can incorporate all of your pets in the layout.

How do I receive my portrait?

I offer free delivery within 25 miles of Nashville. If your portrait is being shipped to you, I will package it with care to protect it during the shipping process and provide a tracking number so you can keep an eye on delivery time.

How long will it take to receive my portrait?

Once I receive your photos and requests, I will begin painting. The turnaround time is currently 4 weeks, though I can often send a finished piece out sooner. If you need to expedite the process for a gift or event, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate.

How does payment work?

Once you submit an order form, I will respond within 24-48 hours. If your order is straightforward with no add-ons, I will include a PayPal request for the total including shipping based on your address. Total must be paid in full. If you have requests for additional details or a landscape/pattern background, I will send an email with the quoted cost for the total, and once agreed upon, follow up with a PayPal request.

Shipping/Returns:

Shipping is calculated based on the address listed on the order form. I will include the shipping cost in the PayPal request via email. I do not offer returns, but I do want to provide a product you are happy with! I am happy to send a photo of the piece before shipping if requested, and can make minor adjustments before sending it.
